We’ re thrilled to announce the completion of Tak Sang On’s restoration\u2014a fortified century-old pawnshop that once stood as a center of Macau’s bustling trade era.

Built like a citadel with 2-feet thick granite walls to safeguard valuables, its vault-like structure and resilient design have weathered time. To preserve this architectural fortress, Heep Wo Investment Company partnered with Chong Neng Ancient Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.\u2014 a father-and-son team specializing in heritage restoration. Using historical records, they meticulously reconstructed the structure, roof, wall decorations, doors, and windows, reviving its original charm.

After over a year of work, we’ re proud to showcase the master artisans’ incredible craftsmanship. Special thanks to the Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau, Land and Public Works Bureau, and Chong Neng for their support in bringing this project to life!

Located on Rua de Cinco de Outubro, Tak Sang On sits in the heart of Macau’s historic trade and commerce district. Its prime location\u2014near key cultural attractions\u2014makes it a perfect addition to the city’s unique urban landscape.

We look forward to collaborating with the Macau government, the community, or local businesses, to showcase Tak Sang On as a heritage attraction for the promotion and revitalization of the historic Rua de Cinco de Outubro neighbor!
